Senior Clerk: Yvoy St. Marie
Assistants: Sophie Harris, AnnaMay Phillips
Junior Clerks: Dana-Lee Taylor, Crystal Headly
The Clerk’s office exists to provide services that help the church to function efficiently. We work closely with the pastor and other church officers and members and minister to the congregation by documenting and maintaining the church records. We keep accurate minutes of church board and business meetings and submit information regarding our church to the conference on a regular basis.
We also maintain the record of church membership, process membership transfers, transmit and receive information from the Conference, maintain church records, preparing Worship bulletins and maintaining the Church Directory. The clerk is the secretary for Board and Business meetings, and we are responsible for keeping an accurate record of these meetings. These are just some of the things we do in serving our church.

As deacons and deaconesses, we are called to serve with humility, compassion, and dedication, reflecting the love of Christ. Recognizing that all members of the body of Christ have a vital role in fulfilling His mission, we embrace our responsibility to make disciples of Jesus.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit to visiting and reclaiming missing members, supporting the sick, elderly, and bereaved, helping the poor, and maintaining the church property. We serve in worship, Sabbath School, communion, baptism, funerals, and other church functions, always seeking to glorify God and strengthen the body of believers.
Inspirational verse: "For those who have served well as deacons acquire for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. " - 1 Timothy 3:13

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. Psalm 84:10

Our objective is to manage the financial resources of the church to help it accomplish our God given mandate, “The Advent Message to All the World.”
As servant leaders, our Stewardship and Treasury team strives to serve by providing financial leadership to the local church, encouraging stewardship, and securing member contributions. We adhere to the strictest codes for maintaining the confidentiality of members’ personal information and contributions. Our office provides safe and secure ways for members to support the church financially. We develop and monitor church’s financial plans and keep the church informed by monthly reports to the Board with monthly reports. Our office serves as liaison with the local conference (SEC) on financial matters, processes and remits contributions to the Conference on a monthly basis. We also serve the local church by processing approved disbursements and providing members with annual contribution statements for tax purposes.
Currently, there are two primary means of giving to support the ministries of the church:
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 2 Corinthians 9:12 & 13 (NIV)
